Plant Description
Luna Red Hibiscus is an excellent pond plant that has lovely, large red blooms that grace the foliage of these hardy hibiscus plants. Plants grow 2.5 – 3 feet tall and the flowers can be quite large and impressive! Blooms later in the summer when other plants are fading. This is a real POP of color! Flowers on Luna Red Hibiscus bloom on hardy, shrub-like foliage and are drenched in color. Luna Red Hibiscus is very short, growing 2 – 2.5 feet tall. Plant outside the pond or in the pond with up to 2 inches of water over the top of the pot. Luna Red Hibiscus comes back better each year! Very winter hardy. Planting Instructions
Plant this hardy hibiscus in heavy loam soil in containers and place in your pond with up to 2 inches of water over container, in full sun. May be planted in pots or in your landscape, keep soil moist and plant in full sun. Gets prettier each year and very winter hardy in the north! Hibiscus make exceptional pond plants!
