Plant description
This Pink Nightbloomer also stays open until 11am most mornings, it has large, vivid-pink blooms that open at dusk and close in the morning. Shades of pink are intense on this exquisite, night-bloomer. The pads of this tropical night-bloomer are bronze-green pads. The bright-pink petals and exotic bronze leaves are a striking and beautiful combination! Depending on pot size you choose and fertilizer schedule this can be a medium to large waterlily and has a spread of 4 – 8 feet. Night bloomers are a delightful way to enjoy a well lit pond at night or over coffee before work in the morning.
Planting instructions
Plants should be placed 6 – 24 inches beneath the surface of the water and fertilized every three weeks. Make sure plants are in full sun (5+ hours per day). The more sun, the better! Plant your tropical waterlilies in wide, shallow containers using loam soil. Tropical waterlilies grow beautifully throughout the United States. In the north they are considered an annual.
